Welcome to my life

Friday, September 19, 2008

I'm staring down myself, counting up the years,
When I'm home alone, I just can't stop myself,
So please be sure to read the fine print.

In this world of news, I found nothing new.
nothing wrong, nothing right,
I'm gonna gun this down.

Clear, I was dead wrong all along.
They won't know who we are,
When I don't trust,
What happens next?

It's just confusion,
Can we excuse ourselves?
How this world turns cold and it breaks through my soul,
What his story will be.

Feel the pain teaching us how much more we can take,
Would you have the guts to say,
In the future where will I be?

Still frames and valentines,
when the future architectured.
You're probably wondering what I was proving.
is this a life left just to remember?

Walking on a hill that night with those fireworks and candlelight.
Make us Poster Boys for your scene,
They say it's time you lost your crown.
And we'll laugh, yeah we'll laugh.

Amongst the vending machines and year-old magazines,
the expressions on the faces we don't know,
with your social lingo,
for the detail was left unsaid.

I hyperventilate,
Every door I tried was locked.
