Welcome to my life

Back from church camp'06
spend 4 days 3 nights in City Bayview Hotel in Malacca, Malaysia.
which is about 3 hours drive from Singapore depending on the speed of the vehicle.
so yeah, did a slow drive up to Malacca.
4 Star Hotel, it claims. but i think it's about 3.14529175 stars.
it's not a big hotel, but enough to fit in 344 people i think.
so i volunteered to help with the children's programme.
70+ kids in a very small room, should be easy to handle.
but yet, few slip through, luckily no kid was lost.
if not i'll be in deep trouble.
from cute little 2 years old, to intelligent not-so-cute primary 6.
the kids were generally good till the 2 day.
in which, all hell broke loose on at the pj party. in which the ones who didn't want to participate were shown to another room.
i being so nice, decided to take care of the kids in the other room. since they are younger.
which to me equals cuter. DON'T LET APPEARANCE FOOL YOU.
they are little monsters. considering i was once like them.
kids will always be kids.
so they destroyed the projector screen, power point and the telephone line. before deciding, i was their next target. imagine 8 kids trying to climb on you and others hitting you like in a fighting movie. those small fists really pack a punch. and carrying them could be quite tiring.
helping kindergarten kids do work is really tiring.
cause they don't know how to do it well, in the end.
it's you doing all the work, while they run around and try to injure other kids.
enough about the cute kids. the food there was not that fantastic.
neither the facilities.
the pool was so small, it could only fit 30 children. for them to have enough room to move.
considering their size,
i decided not to jeopardize their lives by changing into my swimming shorts.
and jumping into the pool. one thing about the previous camp was the wonderful jacuzzi and cold dip pool. packed with steam bath and the sauna.
VAN PERSIE SCORED!
alright, random. it's holland playing ivory coast now.
talking about world cup. manage to catch some games. despite being in malaysia.
the lounge at the hotel has a very nice plasma tv. did i mention 40", comparing it with a 16" tv in the room. but the drinks there were so expensive. so we decided to crash lydia's room to have our own world cup party. manage to catch games of JAPAN, AUSTRALIA, KOREA, VAN NISTELROOY SCORED. 2-0 now. haha, back to topic. TOGO, BRAZIL, CROATIA, TUNISIA, SAUDI ARABIA, GERMANY and POLAND. ROBBEN DIVED, lol. yellow card. in fact 2 of the games were at 3 am and i manage to watch it, and being awake at 6.30am is a major achievement, not that i'm encouraging anybody to do the same. i'll update the scores another time.
