Welcome to my life

Sunday, May 11, 2008

ladies and gentlemen,
it's been a long and arduous journey throughout these 9 months.
where many battles have been won, lost or drew.
it's the final day of the British Premier League.
which means 2 months of lifelessness for soccer crazed people like me on weekends.
oh wait! There's Euro 2008.
and yours truly is certainly following the games very intensively.
frequently changing channel so that i would be constantly updated of the scores on both ends.
and i'm proud to say, MANCHESTER UNITED is leading Wigan 1-0 courtesy to Cristiano Ronaldo, who is the leading goalscorer and a smoothly taken penalty.
Chelsea on the other hand, lost their skipper after 10 mins of play. getting belletti to replace captain marvel. a dislocated arm i think.
well, much goes to say about the following week in MOSCOW.
which in fact, as many would know. well, for the rest that doesn't know what is happening in moscow.
it's is the grand rugby final between france and new zealand.
okay, that's just rubbish.
it's the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL.
needless to say, it's MANCHESTER UNITED against chelsea.
no points for guessing where my loyalty lies.
till then. it's currently half time. wait for my 2nd half update, after Manchester wins the League
*or so i hope!

**BACK

MANCHESTER UNITED is Champions AGAIN!
we're the champions, my friends.
it was the climax of the season, with such a tight race to the title.
*although bolton drew with chelsea, meaning Man Utd Won by a margin of 2 points.
and low and behold, it is MANCHESTER UNITED who eventually held on to the lead.
kudos to them. for taking fans on a roller coaster of emotions.
esp. with the two derby losses and the start of season poor form.
truly a mark of champions. persevering through hardship to win the big prize.
2007/2008 has been a great year for Manchester. and onward to MOSCOW.
Thanks for the memories.

Back to more personal matters.
it was an enjoyable time over @ RVPS for week 3 of Groundzero.
really encouraged to see the whole congregation bonding over games, food and see their competitive side.
apart from the exhibition matches.
i managed to get on the joust, for a few battles with Gerald, Boon, Brandon and SK.
poor rowe fractured her nose. and joyce popped both her shoulders. OUCH!
get well soon people.
for the rest. stay safe!
Godspeed!
