Yup, serve 05 is up and coming... kick started today... it's 7th intake.. which means i was the 6th intake... yes, serve 05 is huge.. with the methodist churches joining in and making it the biggest cohort in the records... surely friendships will be made and yes, differences will be inevitable, due to different personalities... i was shocked to see so many people in agape, happy indeed... well, it's been abit more than a year since i started serving... serve 2004 brought me memories i will treasure from the first day up to the mission trip and the small gathering which we had... although contacts are lost.. they are a special bunch of people to me... we had 2 months together... eating in agape, lychee drinks, lay's potato chips and mentos... jumbo's, crystal jade, breko's, katong laksa, singapore poly canteen and coronation plaza... and visiting other churches which i enjoy... St. James church, St. John's Chapel, Church of Our Saviour and Pasir Panjang Brethen Church... indeed it seems like i'm giving credits... ya.. okay, it's been a fun time... especially when we all came as strangers and then after a few weeks, we all were pretty close... but since schools and ns started... we drifted apart... basically, not hanging out with each other and having no time as the time is spend on books and interaction with our new friends... when serve 04 started, it's was pretty boring.. but by the time it was ending... we all wished that we would have serve everyday... mission trips to Coldstream,Perak and Mambang di Awan, Perak... had us viewing life in a different perspective, for me especially... now with serve 05 starting... i'm sure they will enjoy every minute of it.. for my case... i really enjoyed my time in serve, getting to know people from other churches... always remember: once a server, always a server!
