Driving test Part 2,
Time: 11 am
Location: Ubi Comfort Driving Centre
starring Me, Tester.
Scene 1
Circuit. SGC 6838, slowly proceeds into the circuit, awaiting the e-brake.
and no, it didn't happen, moving towards the slope where you have to put on your handbrake,
gear 1, releasing clutch till the car vibrates and a gentle tap on the accelerator.
by putting down the handbrake, your car should move forward, not backward.
and so it did, moving forward towards the Single, Thick White Line (aka Stop Line)
then the S course, and my most feared. No it's not parking.
it's the stupid directional change, if you read Driving Test Part 1, you would have know my 10 points came from there.
Using Gear 1, i brought the car towards the cone, checked my blind spots and then slowly reverse into the space for my car.
step 1 FINISHED.
then step 2, which is to get out of the space.
no REVVING of engines, no releasing of clutch quickly, just slowly and turning the steering wheel to the exit. KERB! nah. just joking.
then parking, and the crank course.
upon reaching the exit of the circuit. relief.
why? the tester didn't even have a mark on my paper.
which is something i really wanted. ain't that confident of my circuit driving.
Test Route 2, making sure that all my signals and blind spots are checked,
well, one advice. checking blind spots are alright, but check the right ones.
if not the tester would just give you the points.
because, POINTS are FREE.
so yeah, being careful, i check every blind spot.
and got marked for taking too long.
OUCH. I was trying to be sure.
so he cut short my route.
Driving test part 1, my instructor also cut short my route.
thinking i was going to fail, as after he cut short my route, he was busy ticking my paper.
oh no. something is not right.
upon reaching the office, my heart was beating super fast.
took out the paper, kept ticking 3 lines. ouch, then he calculated for me.

yeah, it means i pass. which is also not something i'll be very proud of, as i have to improve.
he told me my mistake. don't take too long to check my blind spots. use the mirrors.
which i did, and check blind spots to confirm safety.
then proceed to watch the safety video.

yeah, i think it's at least 10 or 12 years old.
trust me, before you wanna watch the video, go get a queue number for payment to collect, your temp license, if you're taking the test at ubi, it's super long, i waited there from 12.01 till 2.01
2 long hours. but it's worth the wait. My license!
